Beslag Design is a Nordic design and product company headquartered in Båstad. Approximately 50 employees work here in modern, newly built premises with offices and a warehouse right next to the train station. The company has a turnover of over 250 million SEK and combines extensive industry knowledge with a clear ambition to continue growing through quality, form, and function. Beslag Design is part of Salix Hem & Beslag and the Volati group, which provides them with a long-term and stable owner.

The product portfolio includes handles, knobs, bathroom accessories, lighting, faucets, and sinks. Products are developed both in-house and in close collaboration with European partners such as Blanco, Furnipart, and Domus Line – relationships that are central to the company's working methods and identity.

Beslag Design's products are sold through the kitchen and bathroom industry, retailers, and industry, as well as via e-commerce – both through their own platform, Beslag Online, and through established e-commerce partners.

Responsibilities

As Head of Product & Range, you will have a strategic key role with the mandate and responsibility to develop and shape both Beslag Design's and Beslag Online's product assortment – from idea and concept to launch and market impact. You will work closely with the CEO and collaborate closely with marketing, e-commerce, purchasing, and sales to ensure that products are developed correctly, positioned clearly, and reach customers with maximum effect.

The role combines strategic assortment work with operational responsibility in daily development and requires a strong interest in design, products, brand, and business. A central part is to create clear product families where design, function, and business are interconnected – from the first idea to the products reaching the end customer. The role includes personnel responsibility for the product development function where you lead and develop the team and drive the work together with our partners and suppliers.

• Develop and drive the company's assortment and product strategy from idea to launch

• Be responsible for product selection, assortment logic, life cycles, and phasing out

• Lead and support two employees in product development

• Ensure product profitability, calculations, and brand-appropriate decisions

• Work cross-functionally with marketing, e-commerce, sales, purchasing, and sourcing in assortment and development issues

Education, experience, and personal qualities

We are looking for someone with a strong internal drive and an interest in design, products, and how an assortment is built over time. You thrive in an entrepreneurial environment where pace, responsibility, and collaboration are central – and where you can influence.

Requirements

• Several years of experience in a similar role with responsibility for product portfolio/assortment

• Experience with consumer products

• Strong understanding of product calculations, margins, and business logic

• Experience working cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and purchasing

• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience working data-driven

• Fluent in Swedish and English

• Driver's license (B)

Meritorious

• Experience in home, kitchen, bath, or furniture, from retail or brand-driven design environments

• Experience in international sourcing or M&A-related projects

• Experience with sustainability data and sustainable material and supplier choices

Travel: Beslag Design is a design and product company, so being out, seeing trends, and meeting partners is a natural part of how they develop their assortment – which also involves some travel, typically around 20–30 days per year.
